How to Reserve a Plot for the 2024 Growing Season

  1. Read the Gardener Agreement. All applicants must read the agreement and agree to its rules before an application can be submitted.

  2. Complete the application fields below and click the SUBMIT button.  All application information is kept confidential.

  3. Once your application is received, you will receive a confirmation email.

  4. The Garden Coordinator will contact you by email or phone within 7 days about your application. All applications are processed on a first-come first-serve basis.

  5. If you have been accepted for the basic membership and a plot is available, you will be given instructions on how to make your payment.  Once your payment is processed, you will receive an email confirmation, your plot number and other important information.

  6. If you have been accepted for the sponsored membership and a plot is available, you will receive an email confirmation, your plot number and other important information.

  7. If no plots are currently available, you may request to be placed on our waiting list for the current growing season.

The basic membership costs $50 for the growing season. It includes:

  • Rental of one is 4' x 16' raised bed filled with high-quality fertile soil

  • Rental of two 4' x 50" sturdy galvanized panels and four 6' T-Posts for trellising

  • One untreated bale of straw for mulching

  • Use of City water and the community garden tools

  • Free "Get Growing" spring workshop

The sponsored membership:
We are actively seeking sponsors to fund the costs of the basic membership for qualifying low- to moderate-income households in the Fairfield area.  If you think you would qualify and are 
interested in being considered, please check the box below.
